How to add hotel rooms to a hotel listed on Sikuuku.com

Navigate to "Manage Hotel"

In the vendor dashboard(Assuming you are logged in to Sikuuku.com), Click the "Manage Hotel" menu option. This takes you to a list of all the hotels you are managing on Sikuuku.com.

Click the "Edit" on the bottom right of the Hotel to which you wish to add a room

Step 2: Edit Hotel
On the Edit Hotel page, click the "Manage Rooms" button

Step 3: Add Room
On the Manage Rooms page, click the "Add Room" button to add a new room to the hotel

Understanding the fields that must be filled when adding a new hotel

On the page for adding a new hotel, form fields are categorized into 4 categories as explained below

    1. Content tab

      This tab contains the basic information about your hotel. The content contains the following input fields

      Role of each field.
      1. Room Name:
        This is where you type the name of the Hotel room you are adding. 
      2. Featured Image:
        This is where you upload the main image of your room which is the very first image the user views  when looking at your hotel. (Not mandatory but we recommend image size to be 1280pixels wide by 920 pixels high and where possible an image with a .webp image extension is highly recommended)
      3. Gallery:
        This is where you upload all other images that portrays the various dimensions of the room.  (Not mandatory but we recommend image size to be 1280pixels wide by 920 pixels high and where possible an image with a .webp image extension is highly recommended)


    2. Pricing tab

      This tab has input fields for hotel room details . The content contains the following input fields
       
      Figure 5: Price Input Field, Number of Rooms Input Field, Minimum Day Stay Input Field, Number of Beds Input Field, Room Size Input Field, Max Adults Input Field, Max Children Input Field, and Map zoom Input Field

      Role of each field.
      1. Price:
        Price per night 
      2. Real Address:
        Total number of rooms of exact type that are part of this hotel.
      3. Minimum Day Stay Requirements:
        The minimum bookable duration in days a client can make for this room.
      4. Number of beds:
        Total number of beds in this room e.g 1 for 1 bed single room.
      5. Room Size:
        Size of the room 
      6. Max Adults:
        The maximum number of adult occupants this room can accommodate 
      7. Max Children:
        The maximum number of child occupants this room can accommodate 
    3. Attributes tab

      This tab contains a variety of attributes common to hotels. Check all those attributes that apply to the room being added.

    4. ICAL tab

      Here you can update the availability of your room using an ICAL link especially if your room is listed other booking platforms that offer you ICAL link exports.
